SUM Ltd Proud to Announce 30th Anniversary
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CALGARY, Alberta, June 21, 2021 SUM Ltd, an oil and gas service company leader its specialization in the production of thermal insulation for extreme conditions, is celebrating its 30-year anniversary. For three decades, SUM Ltd has leveraged their commitment to building the best product every time for all their long-standing clients, raising the bar in standards and setting overall high expectations surrounding craftsmanship and quality.
In its 30th year, SUM Ltd continues to provide highest quality custom insulation products in the field. “Our commitment to strict deadlines and building the best product every time has landed us the opportunity to be the long-standing supplier for several key clients today. Our formula for success is simple: Our customer’s experience with our product and service is equal to our success as a company,” shared Aleksandra Komorowski, Director of SUM Ltd.
SUM Ltd produces custom insulation used on technical equipment for either very high or very low temperature applications: custom removable insulation blankets, fire and welding blankets, instrument covers, and more. They do this through their keen attention to service quality living up to the motto, ‘measure twice, cut once.’ SUM Ltd is also ISO 9001:2015 certified, demonstrating their commitment to high quality standards, waste reduction, and industry-leading working practices. This has inspired the team at SUM Ltd to structure their organization to be scalable, resilient and flexible to the needs of the market for three decades. The culturally diverse team at SUM Ltd is as tenacious and dedicated as they come, having rode many ups and downs in the past 30 years.
“For the past three decades, we have worked together with our customers to ensure timelines and service quality are always at the highest level,” continued Komorowski. “We guarantee our products, so you can be sure what you order is what you get the first time. Our team will work with yours to provide responsive after-installation service, if the need ever arises.”
SUM Ltd produces insulated solutions to protect their clients’ employees from extreme temperatures radiating from their equipment. Their products work well in conserving heat, freeze protection and even sound insulation. All insulation products are constructed with a combination of only the most advantageous materials to do the unique job it is required for. It is constructed meticulously for tool-less (as needed) installation in the field. Komorowski went on to declare, “Perfection is SUM Ltd’s only standard.”
About SUM Ltd
SUM Ltd is a family owned and operated, multi-national corporation which produces custom insulation used on technical equipment for either very high or very low temperature applications: custom removable insulation blankets, fire and welding blankets, sound attenuation applications, instrument covers, and more. Thanks to a team with decades of experience in textiles and tailoring, SUM Ltd has been uniquely positioned from the outset to bring a fresh set of eyes to the industry. The company quickly realized that at-the-time standard solutions deployed in the field were sub-par so SUM Ltd has taken it upon themselves to raise the bar for craftsmanship and quality—perfection is SUM Ltd’s only standard. You can find SUM Ltd’s insulation on Argentinian instruments, in BC ships and mines, and on North Sea drilling platforms.
If you would like additional information about the company, its 30th anniversary celebration plans or its people, please contact Aleksandra Komorowski at 403-279-9853 or calgary@sumltd.com.
